Gerd was born on July 22, 1945 in Germany and grew up in a Christian home in Hamburg.Gerd passed into Glory September, 2021. He will be greatly missed.

Gerd attended Bible College in Switzerland and afterward he received the call to be a missionary in West New Guinea. There he also met Maria, daughter of American missionaries to Sicily. They were married in July 1970 on Long Island, NY and two years later they began their pioneer missionary work in an unreached interior tribe.

After serving there for six years they returned to the States and helped plant a church in Pottstown, PA. During the next ten years Gerd taught several Sunday school classes and served as an elder.

Gerd and Maria have been living in Anchorage, AK since 2009 and Gerd recently started his own business that he considers as a marketplace ministry.

Their four children serve the Lord either full or part-time in Germany, PA, MO and AK and have given Gerd and Maria 11 grandchildren.

Although no longer in full-time ministry, they continue to have a heart for missions and consider it a privilege to serve on the board of directors of Antioch World Mission. Maria serves as Secretary.

Augustus Anthony was born in Lucknow, India. As a young boy Jesus came to him in a mighty way and spoke to his tender heart, “I have died for you, and you will live for me”.
Bishop Augustus Anthony, more lovingly known as Brother Tony around the world, encountered the power of God at the young age of 13 years and dedicated his life to the service of God and his fellow man. God filled his heart with a burden for people. He developed a special love for for the lost and suffering.

                            .

Augustus Anthony has experienced many hardships in his own life. He knows the pain of poverty, being underprivileged, what it means to live on meager recourses in an world of hopelessness and despair.

At the age of 13, Brother Tony traveled throughout India as a conference speaker – sharing his new life in Jesus Christ. He later became a part of a church in Lucknow and assisted in several areas of the ministry. In 1984 he became the senior pastor. The church remained small in numbers, about 30 to 40 people. Tony began to wait on God regarding how to grow the church. God revealed to him to begin outreach at start planting churches.

Today the church in Lucknow has planted and sustained over 1,000 new churches in India and Nepal.

Ed and Priscilla, Paul and Christina and Gary Kutil have been working alongside Brother Tony for over 35 years making several mission trips to India as well as Tony ministering in the United States.
We are so wonderfully blessed to have  this wonderful fellowship and mission opportunity for Christ in India.
